Vehicle for a nice sketch

Pen or pencil? Well, i myself prefer to use pen as my main sketch gear. Don’t ask me why, since child never liked that tiny scratchy sound that normally a pencil does, when touches the paper. At some point, I found it unnerving… Don’t know why, a sketch from a pencil in some way seems more fragile through time. I made and a lost, countless good sketches, since through time, it started to disappear and vanish.
With a pen things were different, every second of your thinking process was there registered. Even the lines that came out clumsy, completely unsynchronized with our thoughts is there. Errors are there, crooked lines are there, regret lines are there…. seems more natural and spontaneous. Every second is very well framed.

A completely opposite method I and most of people were educated with. In childhood who didn’t came across with that stupid and nonsense idea that sketches should be perfect? Retard principle when you want someone creative to express ideas. That’s a huge mistake and I believe it blocks an intention to sketch right from the beginning. It cuts the creative flow! In the world of pen sketch, there are those who use different type lines, and those like me, that normally have a preferred line thickness using a solo pen for most of sketches.

In some way I got used to use only one pen and pressure more or less a certain line, according to the need of the drawing. I’m a bit suspicious to choose the brand Uni Pin as my favourite in terms of pens to sketch. I’ve been using it for quite years and they are very durable.
